Fool's Errands are the bits of film that would normally be seen as a waste, scans of the twin checks from labs, mistaken shots in the middle of the roll, etc. They are emblematic, for me, of the absurdist pursuit of a inconsequential individual, living a economically meagre life, struggling to pay bills, and all the while using film to make photographs, an exhaustingly expensive way to make photos, especially in the age of mirrorless cameras, smartphones, etc.
